The Hot List: 20 Must-Have Pieces, According to Instagram’s Favorite Fashion Sourcer

Without further ado, let’s jump into it for this month’s list.

This may or may not come as a surprise, but the Longchamp Le Pliage Original Mini Pouch has been a regular in my sourcing requests over the years. Their limited colorways often sell out, and most recently, this week I sourced their sold-out limited red colorway. For the season ahead, my bet is on their burgundy color being the most popular.

Incoming in three new colorways are everyone’s favorite Dries Van Noten sneakers. As I type this, I’m slightly concerned how quickly these will sell. My favorite is the new dark green, but the all black leather is equally as great. These won’t last long!

Fall is the time to pull out your corduroy pieces, and this new style by The Row has my vote on being a key piece for the season ahead. My requests for all things The Row, from handbags to accessories to ready-to-wear, is not slowing down. My strong suggestion is to get in quick, these won’t be around for long.

Miu Miu handbags continue to skyrocket in demand, they keep my DM’s very busy month after month, and my focus right now is on their newest suede top handle bag. My bet is on the cacao brown color being the most popular. It won’t be long before we’ll be seeing this bag everywhere (with charms attached – one of my current favorite trends!).

I posted these on our IG stories this week and as it goes with all new Alaïa ballet flat releases, they were an immediate hit. This is the first time they have produced this style in this beautifully luxe croc embossed finish. I feel very confident in saying they will be a globally sold-out style.

As much as I tried to narrow it down to one, I had to include a second Alaïa shoe styles in this month’s list. The interest has been even for both. Velvet is another texture we are going to see a lot of as we transition into fall, and when I say that this style feels like you’re walking on clouds, I truly mean it. A few sizes are available to snap up now.

I consider this the ideal seasonal transition piece. Constructed of a mid-weight knit fabric, this is the piece that once in your wardrobe, it will be there for a lifetime. It also comes with a matching cardigan. Khaite does it again!

Victoria Beckham makes it in again into this month’s list, this time with its newest V-neck midi dress. Elegant, chic, sophisticated are all words that jump to mind when I glance at this dress. I personally feel a 100% silk dress is a staple as we transition from summer to fall. I’d style it with a knee-high pointed boot, most likely from The Row.

If you’re looking to add a suede belt into your wardrobe this fall season, look no further than Aureum Collective. Designed by Cass Dimicco and crafted from full grain Italian leather, it doesn’t get any better than this. I personally wear these heavily, and can vouch that the quality is truly 10/10!

I just sourced these this past week for one of my high-profile clients, who I’m sure will be wearing them very soon (watch this space!). A knee-high calfskin style with a square toe, most sizes are already sold out but I spot a couple of last ones left.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying the Olympics has been front of mind for the past month, and I loved seeing Ralph Lauren as the official outfitter for Team USA. It inspired me to explore their newest drops, and I was very impressed by what I saw. In particular, a style showing low in stock: is this not the most perfect mocha suede button-up shirt you have ever seen!?

With the announcement of David Koma as Blumarine’s new creative director, I’m very excited to see what is to come for the brand. A regular in my sourcing requests, predominantly for dresses, this new ruffled style has quickly caught my attention. It coincides with the boho trend that I’m seeing currently, and is already showing low stock—it’s certainly one to jump on now for your next evening event.

Aya Muse continues to remain high up on my radar as one to watch, my sourcing requests are continuing to increase for them, and at such an excellent price point—it’s almost impossible not to love! My requests tend to be for their dress styles, so naturally I had to include one of my top choices from their newest collection. This is the dress I want to be wearing all month long.

My first request came in for this jacket this week, and I’m anticipating the requests to increase over the next month. Come fall, a quilted jacket is a must. Add in a suede collar and the subtle but iconic Miu Miu logo, and it truly does not get any better. Quick disclaimer, I’m told this runs big and that you can size down one size in this.

I’m placing this style on my “one to watch” radar. Going by previous boot styles released by Miu Miu, demand is instant (its motor boots are a great example of that). Featuring a suede exterior with a rubber lug sole, my recommendation will always be to buy your fall/winter boots early in the season. By the time October comes, I’ve learnt the hard way that they will be gone.

Let’s all give a very warm welcome to the L19’s mini twin: the iconic Extra Pocket style now in a mini version. As soon as I saw this release in their newest fall collection, it immediately went on my “one to watch” radar. If you love a mini style with a detachable strap, this one’s for you! In very good news, there are a number of color options available immediately.

My current most requested style from Chloé: the pleated midi skirt. Although the pale peach Cheek color has been my most requested, I wanted to be able to link an option for you all so that you’re able to shop it right away. To my surprise, I’ve found some lucky sizes left in the ‘Gold’ color. This is not one to miss, I feel confident in saying this is the piece of the moment from Chloé.

Fall is when all the rich color hues can come out and have their moment, and this deep purple from Elisa Johnson is one of them. Elisa Johnson is new to my radar, and I’m excited to have them as one to watch. A brand worn by Rosalia and Lori Harvey, and designed by the coolest girl herself (Elisa Johnson), there are too many (very good!) options to choose from. An easy add-to-cart moment.

I didn’t know I needed a pair of leather slippers, until I spotted these on the fall 2024 runway. They were styled with a number of looks, which tells me that Miu Miu has big plans for this style for the season ahead. I personally love their versatility, which can be styled in a multitude of ways.

Ending with a pre-order—you know how much I stand by these, especially when it comes to in-demand items that will sell out quickly upon release. This time, it’s for the The Row ’90s bag in red. I’ve already started to receive requests for it, and it’s not out yet! That is a clear sign for what is to come. This may just be the best color they have done yet.

July

I posted a story wearing this white T-shirt over the weekend, and it resulted in an influx of requests asking where it was from. This really is such a fantastic staple. Better yet, it’s produced in four different colors. Should we add them all to cart?

You can’t look past Toteme for the ideal airport fit. Comfort and versatility are at the heart of all they do, and these trousers are a great example of that: made of 100% organic cotton with a drawstring waist tie closure. Bring on the 14+ hour flight in these!

A flawless woven design that truly speaks for itself, but what really stands out for me is how easily this style can be packed. I always get a little nervous packing my handbags, as the mere thought of them being crushed is enough to spike the heartbeat. That can be avoided with a clutch of this kind—so chic for summer evenings, and an easy piece to travel in style with.

Khaite does it again with these ultra-chic new leather flats. Finding the perfect white leather flat is no easy task, but this one ticks all the boxes for me. Khaite continues to be one of my most requested brands, and as it goes in the GW world, highly-requested pieces sell fast!

It’s the summer of the flip flops, they are trending heavily across a multitude of designers, and you absolutely can’t go wrong with this style from The Row. My DMs have mostly seen the requests come through for the black, but I can see low stock already showing in this bordeaux colorway. I can envision these selling out.

Sourcing requests have been flying in for this newest Mary-Jane style from Alaïa. You can’t beat a Mary-Jane flat for a short or long travel day, and I love that the studs provide a stylish advantage. They’re also produced in red, and selling fast (as it goes with all things Alaïa). If your size is available, I’d strongly recommend jumping on them now.

I’m convinced Bottega Veneta makes the world’s best (and most stylish) travel bags. The Andiamo bag in the large size is the ultimate go-to carry on style, with several compartments being able to fit it all. It does fit a laptop, which is a must. Quick disclaimer: I’m seeing only one left in stock now.

I’m noticing a huge increase in interest for the EW Margaux bag. A slightly wider size in comparison to the classic Margaux, I personally prefer the EW for travel, as it’s easier to stow away, either under your seat, or overhead. This new Cyprus color is a dream.

Bubble skirts are trending, and I don’t see that slowing down any time soon. This poplin style from Helsa, which also comes in black, may not be your airport choice, but will very quickly be pulled out once you have reached your destination. I’d personally style it with a classic tank, and the Alaïa Mary-Jane flats linked above.

Needing no introduction, the Ash slide from The Row takes traveling in style to a whole new level. Featuring a round toe and rubber outsole, I most recently sourced this style for Tania Sarin who wore them last week for her travel look. Thankfully for us all, I spot a few sizes still available online.

If you tend to opt for a jean for a short or long flight, you’ll love this pair. This unique style by Grover Rad features the front page of a newspaper from October 30, 1929 (very cool!), and is constructed from the most comfortable stretch denim. Having personally tried and tested these, I can confirm comfort is 10/10.

My first request for this bag came through last week, and as I began to do some digging on it, I was noticing “low stock” and “sold out” across various different websites. It’s on my “one-to-watch” list for now, and I see the medium taking the win as the most coveted size. Bonus points on this style is that it does come with an optional shoulder strap.

Speaking of flats, these newest cord sandals from Miu Miu are an absolute must. Produced in thtree colorways (brown, black, and red), they are so incredibly easy to pack, and will be a staple for all of your summer looks. I opted for the black and have been living in them.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I always get cold on planes, and therefore, a cardigan is a necessity. Say hello to Saint Laurent’s newest style, featuring a delicate lace-trimmed neckline, and made from a soft wool and silk blend. I love the special lace touch to a classic cardigan style.

Coming in as my number one most requested and sourced belt this month, the Chloé belt first took the runway by storm, and is now doing the same for my DMs. An iconic piece from Chemena Kamali’s first collection for the brand, a belt is a must-have for any trip. I consider this a piece that will be treasured for years to come.

I’m seeing a really strong increase in requests for Victoria Beckham, predominantly for her dresses, which tend to sell out the quickest. This month, my focus is on her newest color-block style. Effortlessly chic, and it incorporates the bubble trend that is high up on my radar.

No matter where you may be traveling, a classic button-up shirt is a true essential. Loewe’s newest season style in the most beautiful shade of blue is a piece I didn’t hesitate in adding to cart. The styling opportunities are endless, and can be worn with many, if not all, of the shoe styles included in this month’s column.

This is very quickly becoming a column of The Row shoes but we need to sound the alarms for this one: the charm beach sandals are back in stock! I’m already nervous at the thought of how quickly these are going to sell out. Be quick, they won’t be around for long.

Depending on time restraints, if you are heading straight to lunch, dinner, an appointment, or anywhere in between, this is the shirt that will take you there directly from your flight. It’s comfortable, yet stylish. Miu Miu continues to be one of my top five most requested brands of 2024 and I don’t see that slowing down any time soon.

Although I would usually save suede for my fall columns, when a Savette Pochette pops up, I certainly don’t sleep on it. This top handle style bag continues to spike in demand, and is a regular request in my DMs. I spot a navy suede online (drool!), please secure it before it sells, and let me know if you snap it up in time!
