First up, Balenciaga and Scholl have released their footwear collaboration from the fall/winter 2025 runway. Why: Comfort meets design in Balenciaga’s latest footwear collaboration with Scholl. Originally debuting on the fall/winter 2025 runway, each style blends Demna’s subtle subversions with Scholl’s orthopedic insoles. Mercedes-Benz, Moncler, and Nigo Debut G-Class-Inspired Capsule Collection

Why: Combining brand legacy with contemporary streetwear, Mercedes-Benz, Moncler, and Nigo have collaborated on capsule collection that honors the Kenzo creative director’s one-of-a-kind Project G-Class Past II Future art piece. The pieces, which are part of the Moncler Genius roster, are inspired by Nigo’s influential streetwear career. Dual-logo baseball caps, oversized graphic T-shirts, and old-school bomber jackets draw on classic ’90s hip-hop silhouettes. Starting April 18, customers will also have the chance to pre-order a Hot Wheels replica of the Project G-Class Past II Future car model from mattelcreations.com.

Duran Lantink Wins This Year’s International Woolmark Prize

Presented by Donatella Versace, the independent designer will receive a cash prize of $300,000 AUD (approximately $195,000). What: LVMH announces eight finalists for the 2025 LVMH Prize

Why: After months of deliberation, LVMH has announced the eight finalists for this year’s LVMH Prize. On July 3, the short-listed independent designers will present in front of the jury for a chance to secure a €400,000 endowment and tailored mentorship program led by the LVMH team. The winning brand will also sit among past recipients including Peter Do, Chopova Lowena, and Jacquemus.

Christian Louboutin Launches Eyewear Collection
