To determine the prevalence and factors associated with atopic dermatitis (AD) in patients visiting dermatology clinics in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was a cross-sectional questionnaire-based study of adult patients visiting the dermatology clinics in King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh. A total of 419 patients aged ≥ 18 years were studied. The dermatology clinic numbers were chosen at random, and all patients fulfilling the inclusion criteria were recruited. Most of the patients were females (62.3%), and the mean age was 36.5 years. The mean age of patients with AD was 37.12 years compared with 30.64 years for those without AD. Patients with AD (n = 159, 38.3%) were significantly more likely to have associated allergies (p Magnetic resonance imaging of ameloblastomas.
Ameloblastomas are rare odontogenic neoplasms showing varying degrees of differentiation. These lesions are the most common of the odontogenic tumours. The treatment of choice is surgical excision, and as such, the magnetic resonance (MR) imaging features of ameloblastomas are quite evident. The MR imaging findings with the following five features have been previously reported: (1) T2-weighted and (2) gadolinium-enhanced MR images with coronal and transverse images; (3) bone destruction; (4) calcification within the lesion; and (5) enlarged cervical lymph nodes.
