With air quality indices forecasted to be unhealthy, the 19 Cincinnati-Area Planet Fitness locations have opened their doors to anyone wanting to exercise now through Sunday, July 2.
Visitors will have no obligation to join to take advantage of this opportunity.
“With nineteen Planet Fitness clubs in and around the Cincinnati area, we want to make sure those who normally exercise outdoors have a safe option to avoid unhealthy air quality levels,” Midwest Brands CEO Mike Hamilton said, who runs the Planet Fitness franchisee group. “As the leading fitness provider in the Cincinnati area, we want to make sure we are responding appropriately to this situation. We hope this free access gives everyone the opportunity to exercise safely and continue their healthy habits.”
All Planet Fitness locations offer more than 100 cardio and strength equipment pieces, 30-Minute Circuit training areas and functional training, as well as amenities such as full-service locker rooms, tanning, massage chairs and Hydro Massage beds.
Cincinnati-area Planet Fitness locations participating in this initiative include Fairfield, Colerain, Tri-County, Finneytown, Western Hill, Harrison, Lawrenceburg, Indiana; Oakley, Eastgate, Milford, Mason, Newport, Florence, Ft. Wright, Alexandria, Banks, Middletown, Hamilton, and West Chester.
